Ideal for a wide array of applications including construction, automotive, and heavy machinery, our ASTM A1011/A1011M hot rolled steel is ordered to meet your mechanical requirements.  Hot rolled steel often has a rougher surface finish compared to cold rolled due to the scaling and oxidation that occurs during the cooling process. However, our typical hot rolled product has a smooth, clean, blue surface making it a great choice for projects that demand both durability and visual appeal.

Pre-Painted steel is a decorative material widely used in various industries. The paint coating not only enhances the appearance of the steel but also provides additional protection against environmental factors. The most common spec of painted steel that we offer is - ASTM A755 BASE, ASTM A792 GR80 AZ55 in 26 gauge and 29 gauge.  We provide for car ports, metal buildings, garage doors and other applications:   

Available Types: 

• Polyester: A versatile and cost-effective coating with good weather resistance.
• Silicone Modified Polyester (SMP): Offers improved durability and resistance to weathering and chalking.
• Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF): Known for its superior durability, color retention, and resistance to harsh environmental conditions.
• Epoxy: Provides excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance, often used for industrial applications.
• Acrylic: Offers good UV resistance and a glossy finish, suitable for decorative purposes.

Our hot rolled steel plate can be ordered in standard widths and lengths as discreet plate (mill flat) or in custom widths and lengths run from coil stock, ASTM A36, ASTM A572, ASTM A588, ASTM A514 and ASTM A786 - in these types SS, HSLA, PVQ, AR, and Floor Plate.  We currently supply applications for structural components like beams, columns, steel frames and welded tanks.  Also heavy duty components such as truck frames.  And manufacturing applications for machinery parts and industrial equipment.

• Width: Our widths include 48 inches (1,220 mm), 60 inches (1,524 mm), and 72 inches (1,829 mm), and 96 inches (2,438 mm).
• Length: Standard lengths at 96", 120" 144" and 240" custom lengths from coil stock can be produced as per requirement.
• Grades: Available grades include ASTM A36, ASTM A572, ASTM A516, and ASTM A588, each offering different mechanical properties and uses.
